Welcome to Robogear BD (robogearbd.com). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and the purchase of any products from Robogear BD.

By visiting our site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. General Overview & Eligibility

Robogear BD is an e-commerce platform based in Barishal, Bangladesh, supplying robotics parts, microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi accessories), sensors, power modules, motor drivers, tools, and educational kits across Bangladesh.
To make a purchase, you must provide accurate, current, and complete personal and contact information.

2. User Accounts & Google Authentication

You may register using your email and password, or sign in conveniently using your Google account via Google OAuth.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide misleading information, engage in fraudulent transactions, or abuse our referral or loyalty systems.

3. Products, Pricing & Availability

Product Specifications: We strive to display accurate descriptions, technical specifications, and imagery. However, manufacturers may make minor design or batch revisions without altering core functionality.
Pricing: All prices are listed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT / ৳) and include applicable government charges unless specified otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed orders will be honored at the price shown at checkout.
Stock & Availability: In the rare event that an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, our team will promptly notify you to arrange a replacement, backorder, or instant refund.

4. Ordering & Payment Terms

We offer flexible and secure payment methods for customers across Bangladesh:

Cash on Delivery (COD): Available nationwide. To prevent false orders and cover return courier risks, a minimal delivery charge advance may be required prior to dispatch.
Online Payment: Secure payments via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, internet banking, and Visa/Mastercard through our licensed payment gateway partner (SMS Pay).
Store Pickup: Customers in Barishal may choose to collect their orders directly from our outlet with cash or digital payment at pickup.

An order is considered confirmed once verified by our system or confirmed over phone/SMS by our support team. We reserve the right to cancel orders flagged as abusive, duplicate, or uncontactable.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Courier Partners: Orders are shipped via reliable couriers, including Steadfast Courier and Pathao Courier.
Delivery Timelines:
- Barishal City: Typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours.
- Other Divisions & Districts: Typically delivered within 2 to 4 business days.
Delivery Delays: While we dispatch orders expeditiously, occasional delays caused by national holidays, severe weather, or courier hub congestion are beyond our direct control. You can track your shipment anytime via our Order Tracking page.

6. Warranty, Replacement & Returns

We test and inspect modules before shipment. However, electronics components require proper handling:

Inspection Window: Customers must inspect the package upon receipt. If a product arrives physically damaged, missing parts, or incorrect, you must report it to us within 48 hours of delivery.
Defective Products: If a module is defective upon arrival, notify our support team with clear photos or a short video demonstrating the issue. Verified manufacturing defects are eligible for replacement or store refund.
Exclusions: Warranty or replacement does not cover damage caused by incorrect wiring, reverse polarity, overvoltage, short circuits, improper soldering, firmware corruption, or liquid damage.

7. Robo Points & Affiliate Partner Program

Robo Points: Registered customers earn 1 Robo Point for every ৳100 spent on items. Points become active upon successful delivery and expire after 12 months. Points can be redeemed at checkout in multiples of 10 points (up to 20% of item subtotal).
Affiliate Program: Every customer receives a unique partner referral code. Self-referrals (referring your own phone or alternative account) are strictly prohibited and will result in voided commissions and program suspension.
Commission Maturation: Referral commissions remain pending until the 7-day post-delivery inspection window clears, after which they may be withdrawn (minimum ৳500) or converted 1:1 into store credit.

8. Limitation of Liability

The robotics and DIY electronic components sold by Robogear BD are intended for hobbyists, educational robotics, prototyping, and engineering projects.
Robogear BD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the misuse, improper circuit design, or handling of high-power components (such as Li-Po batteries or AC relay switches). Always follow proper electrical safety precautions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
